All shipping outside Cape Town means your terrariums are deconstructed. The glass is ready made but all soil, plants, tools and instructions are packaged in bags and numbered. It’s a fun and easy process to plant your terrarium up. The reason we do this is because no shipping company in the world can ship a terrarium without tipping it over. We do offer planted terrariums in Cape Town area and Johannesburg area should you require.
Shipping glass is no simple task but something we’ve mastered over time. The amount of protection we give these glass products makes the final shipping box 3 times larger than it actually is. A 30x30x30cm glass ends up in a box 50x50x50cm giving 10cm gap between all sides. This raises the cost of shipping and explains why we charge what we charge. We line the box with Polystyrene chips to ensure there are no breakage. All your items are insured so if there are any breakage please let us know.
We have 4 category of shipping class. Below explains the sizes and what they carry:
XS | R100 | Ring Boxes, Small wallscapes (10x10x10cm)
S | R200 | Small Terrariums,Small to Medium Vases, Medium Wallscapes (30x30x30cm)
M | R300 | Medium Terrariums, Lamps, Mirrors, Lanterns, Candle Holders (40x40x60cm)
L | R500 | Floating Mirrors, Cube Terrarium, Medium Crystal Terrariums (50x50x100cm)
XL | R1750± | Large Pentakis, Large Briolette, Large Crystal, Large Cubes (75x75x75cm±) Wooden Crates
Please note that all terrariums and glass products are made to order. We do have stock in our shop in Cape Town but you may need to call in to see availability. Please see below out timing on production. Please note production only begins upon full payment is received.
When the product is ready there is a day for packaging and another 2~3 days for shipping nationwide. We hope this helps you understand our production schedules.
